RESTON: Red’s Table to Host A Hard Cider Dinner on Saturday, October 28th
On Saturday, October 28th, 2017, Red’s Table will host a hard cider dinner featuring local craft cidery, Wild Hare Hard Cider, located in Bluemont, Virginia. Tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Wild Hare Hard Cider is a boutique, micro-cidery that creates unique and incomparable hard ciders made directly from their orchard, located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Guests will have the pleasure of enjoying a five-course dinner, prepared by Executive Chef Kevin Ettenson, paired with five of Wild Hare’s finest craft ciders. Standouts featured for the evening include Wild Hare Hatch, Wild Hare Rocket, Wild Hare Windrush, Wild Hare Hopscotch, and Wild Hare Willow.

First Course:
Wild Hare Rocket, an off-dry cider with a hint of sweetness ABV 7%

Sweet Potato Soup with white miso and sherry cream
Second Course:
Wild Hare Windrush, a dry cider aged on oak and chestnut staves ABV 7%
paired with
Autumn Risotto with butternut squash, goat cheese, and pumpkin oil
Third Course:
Wild Hare Hopscotch, a lightly dry hopped cider with a pleasant citrus nose ABV 7%
paired with
Cornish Game Hen with root vegetable gratin and sage oil

Wild Hare Willow, farmhouse cider infused with berries ABV 7%

Burnt Cinnamon Crème Brûlée with apple caramel and smoked almond brittle
