CITYCENTERDC: RareSweets Offers Thanksgiving Cakes, Breakfast, and Bake at Home Options

RareSweets’ chef/owner Meredith Tomason will usher in the holiday season with a Thanksgiving menu of seasonal cakes and ice creams, as well as “bake at home” options for a decadent Thanksgiving morning breakfast, sides to round out your holiday meal, or fill the dessert table. Seasonal layer cakes such as dark chocolate with caramelized pears and caramel drizzle; pumpkin, bourbon and cocoa; spiced apple and parsnip; and cranberry and vanilla bean make use of the season’s best produce. Guests are able to order ahead for in-store pick up of ready to eat cakes and ice cream, or an assortment of bake at home options such as pull apart cinnamon rolls, croissants, bread pudding and crisps is also available.
All orders must be placed by November 17th at 5:00 p.m., by calling 202-499-0077 or emailing info@raresweets.com. In-store pick up is available November 24th and 25th, as RareSweets will be closed on Thanksgiving day.
