MVT: 2 More Eateries Set For Mount Vernon Triangle

There are two new eateries on the horizon on K Street NW, off Mount Vernon Square. Information is a little sketchy on both - so the report here is as much plywood as the business's.
A restaurant called Shouk from founder Ran Nussbacher will open this coming spring at (613?) K St. NW. According to EaterDC  "A spokesman didn't have much to say about it, but noted it will be fast-casual and "challenge the notion that food is either good or good for you.". Since that report I have found out that it will be a Vegan Restaurant.
 Ran Nussbacher posted the above photo on Instagram with the message Opening Spring 2016 - not long to wait

The other planned spot is PIE 360.
A Baltimore based Pizza place, that seems to be expanding quite a bit in the DMV. No time-line here, but it looks to also be a Spring 2016 opening, in the new AAMC building at 655 K Street NW. Personally, I don't know the business, but they describe themselves as;
"Pie 360 was created to serve delicious food with all fresh ingredients in a fast casual atmosphere.
Using the experience & recipes from our Coal Fire Restaurants,
we will be able to bring our aged dough, three uniquely flavorful sauces & top it off with our mozzarella cheese made in house daily.
We hope you will enjoy the experience of building your personal pizza & salad or choosing from one of our newly created paninis."
PIE 360 is also planning new eateries in Alexandria and Rockville, so the brand name should get pretty familiar over the coming 12 months. Douglas Development do confirm their arrival.
