LOGAN: Roast n' Toast at Black Jack and Pearl Dive - November 14th
Black Jack and Pearl Dive Oyster Palace will host an all inclusive fall-themed tasting called Roast n’ Toast on Saturday, November 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Newly appointed chef de cuisine, Austin Ginsberg, will prepare a number of seasonal dishes, including the highlight of the afternoon, a whole-roasted pig and wood-grilled oysters, which will be cooked outside on Pearl Dive’s patio in a Caja China. Passed dishes include Maple Glazed Ribs, Boudin Blanc Rolls (the restaurant’s famous Addie's Rolls stuffed with house-made Boudin Blanc), House-made Bacon BLT sliders and Angels on Horseback.
Susan Wallace, executive pastry chef for the Black Restaurant Group, will prepare Maple Bacon Cheesecake and Apple Cake with Brown Butter Buttercream for dessert. Unlimited Brown Ale from Caboose Brewery, along with house-made cider and bourbon cocktails will be included in the ticket price.
