Size Matters: Grand & Petite
Changing it up a bit, Touchstone artists pair up very large paintings with very small paintings this spring. Displaying together works that are opposite in size results in a dramatic exhibition. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, collages, clay works and hand pulled prints come in sizes 36 x 36 inches and larger. Small works are powerhouses 8 x 8 inches or smaller.

"Art in Nature: Light to Dark" by Harvey Kupferberg
"Art in Nature: Light to Dark" is an example of the broad spectrum of natural light found in the American Southwest. These B&W photographic were taken with film cameras using development and exposure similar to those used by Ansel Adams. The negatives were scanned and printed on fine art digital paper using archival inks. press release

"SOLIDAREity!" by Janathel Shaw
"SOLIDAREity!" is an affirmation and statement about the status of Blacks in America. She will exhibit a series of figurative pieces and portraits of men, women and children looking boldly into the present and the future. press release
