CITYCENTERDC: Christmas in July at RareSweets - July 24 thru 29

Meredith Tomason, pastry chef and owner of RareSweets in CityCenterDC will try to keep things cool and festive this summer with a “Christmas in July” celebration. A special lineup of “Christmas” inspired menu items will be available from July 24-29, and the bake shop will be decked out in Christmas decorations along with festive, holiday music. The special menu will include:

•  Elves on Vacation Shortbread Cookies *chocolate shortbread cookies with royal icing ($3.25)
•  Ginger and lemon Stack Cake ($6 per slice)
•  Eggnog ice cream $5.75/$6.75
•  Iced Hot Chocolate $3.50
