Cuisine Solutions’ Chief Scientist & Founder of The Culinary Research and Education Academy (CREA) Bruno Goussault Is Tapped by The Prestigious Einstein Legacy Project As One of The World’s 100 Greatest Innovators of This Century


Cuisine Solutions’ Chief Scientist & Founder of The Culinary Research and Education Academy (CREA) Dr. Bruno Goussault has been named one of the 100 greatest visionaries by The Einstein Legacy Project, in a publishing milestone, the world’s first 3D-printed book – Genius: 100 Visions of the Future. The book celebrates the 100th anniversary of the publication of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, and is the creation of world-renowned designer Ron Arad. It will showcase the visions of the 100 most important innovators of this century, and is part of an ongoing effort of the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University. Their mission supports a global project to honor the life and legacy of Albert Einstein, and to identify and inspire the next generation of brilliant minds on the planet.

Dr. Bruno Goussault is recognized in both the culinary and scientific world as “the father of sous-vide” for his work pioneering and innovating the cooking technique in 1971. As chief scientist for Cuisine Solutions, he oversees all the scientific aspects of the company’s sous-vide cooking processes, methods, parameters and quality assurance programs. Goussault has helped design and build five sous-vide cooking manufacturing facilities in the U.S., France, Chile, Brazil, Norway, and Africa. Prior to joining Cuisine Solutions, Goussault published scientific articles, appeared on television, and presented at forums around the world. He received the "Ordre National du Mérite" from the President of France in 1995. He founded Centre de Recherche et d'Etudes pour l'Alimentation in Paris in 1991 to train chefs in precise temperature cooking. Goussault has trained many of the world’s top chefs in Europe and the U.S., including Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Joël Robuchon, Michel Richard, Charlie Trotter, Mark Miller, Antoine Westermann, Michel Bras and Anne-Sophie Pic on the application of sous-vide cooking. Bruno Goussault obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Paris Pantheon, a post graduate degree from the d'Etudes et du Developpement Economique et Social, and a M.S. degree in food technology from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Agricoles et Alimentaires.

Goussault joins an impressive list of the world’s most brilliant innovators of this century including the following: Colonel Chris Hadfield, astronaut, former commander of the International Space Station and the first Canadian to walk in space; Deepak Chopra, spiritual teacher, best-selling author, alternative medicine advocate and founder of the Chopra foundation; Barbra Streisand, award-winning actress and singer, director, writer and activist; Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, Nobel Laureate in stem cell research and director of the Center for IPS Cell Research and Application (CIRA) at Kyoto University; Shimon Peres, former president and prime minister of Israel, Nobel Peace Laureate; Frank Gehry, award-winning, internationally renowned architect; Zubin Mehta, multiple award-winning classic music conductor, Hollywood Walk of Fame inductee, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. 


300 copies of Genius: 100 Visions of the Future will be printed, each numbered and arriving with a certificate of authenticity. 100 copies will be gifted to the book’s distinguished contributors, while an additional 50 copies will be auctioned to museums around the world for public display. The remaining books will be gifted to global founders of the Albert Einstein Legacy Project. Genius will be unveiled on September 10, 2017, at the Einstein Legacy Project’s ‘Dinner of the Century’ event in Montreal, Canada, a star-studded, private gala that will bring together the Genius contributors, along with young Einsteins and dignitaries from around the world. The dinner will represent one of the greatest gatherings of Nobel laureates, intellectuals, artists and scientists of our time, and promises to inspire a new generation of creative thinkers.
