Did you know:
The Hay Adams Room is the hotels’ original dining room, and the first air-conditioned restaurant in Washington, D.C. In its heyday, back in the 1940s to 1960’s, it was also a popular bar for the political elite and prominent out-of-towners, including Charles Lindbergh and Ethel Barrymore. Join us as we recreate this classic era, and enjoy lunch and dinner under the portraits of John Hay and Henry Adams in this impressive, paneled gathering place
Off the Record will reopen, re-energized, refreshed and ready to welcome you on September 5th with subtle enhancements to the bar.
The Hay-Adams is located at
800 16th Street NW, Washington DC, 20006,
