CLARENDON: Cool Down with Ambar Clarendon's New Summer Cocktails

Ambar Clarendon, the nation’s capital’s first Balkan restaurant, located on Wilson Blvd, has announced the introduction of new summer cocktails, each made with a different variety of fresh fruit juice or seasonal ingredients. Three creative smashes and three tiki-inspired libations have been created by Mixologist Danilo Simic, and will be available for sipping in the restaurant and at the 50-seat covered sidewalk terrace, through Labor Day, Monday, September 4th.
New additions include the Cucumber & Gin made with gin, cucumber, basil, lime, and soda; Blueberry & Cachaça with lime, honey, and blueberry, and the Lemon & Grappa with grape rakia, lemon, mint, and soda water. Guests can also enjoy temping tiki cocktails including the Port Light with rum, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, pomegranate juice, and falernum syrup;  
Treasure Chest with rum, apricot rakia, pineapple, orgeat, lime, and plum jam, as well as the Painkiller with rum, honey, lemon, cayenne ginger tea, and chocolate-infused coconut water. Cocktails range in price from $9 to $18.
