WASHINGTON DC: Pizzeria Paradiso and SAVOR Craft Beer Week - Starts June 1

As part of SAVOR Craft Beer Week, Pizzeria Paradiso, known and respected for its award-winning beer program, will celebrate with various events and beer specials at all three of their restaurant locations – Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria – as well as a special brunch with featured breakfast pizzas and other items.

Savor 2017

 Urban Farm Fermentory & Gruit Brewing Event – Thursday, June 1, Dupont Circle

On June 1, Pizzeria Paradiso will host a meet and greet event with Urban Farm Fermentory owner, Eli Cayer and other representatives from the Maine-based brewery. Throughout the night, Pizzeria Paradiso will feature four drafts from Urban Farm & Gruit Brewing including the Cyser, Toasted Oak Kombucha, Dandelion Saison and Dry Cidah. The meet and greet will start at 5:00 p.m.

A Celebration of The Bruery’s 9th Anniversary – Friday, June 2, Georgetown & Dupont Circle

At both the Georgetown and Dupont Circle locations, Pizzeria Paradiso will host a full tap takeover of beer from The Bruery to honor their 9thanniversary. The full draft lists for both locations are listed below, but some highlights include the Mischief, Saixon Saison, Sour in the Rye and Traveling Plum.

Brunch with Allagash & Burial – Sunday, June 4, Dupont Circle

On Sunday, June 4, Pizzeria Paradiso will host their annual post-SAVOR brunch in partnership with Allagash & Burial. Drafts will be available from both breweries, including Allagash’s Windfall, Ganache and Little Brett, and Burial’s Surf Wax IPA, Skillet and Fall of the Damned. The full list of draft beers is listed below. Additionally, Pizzeria Paradiso Chef/Owner Ruth Gresser will create two special breakfast pizzas: a savory pizza with chorizo, egg and black bean, and a sweet pizza made with chocolate and raspberry sauce. Brunch specials for the day will also include sticky buns.

Monday Night Beer Club – Cleaning Out the Cellar – Monday, June 5, Georgetown On the Monday following SAVOR, Pizzeria Paradiso will host their monthly Monday Night Beer Club, offering various bottle pours sold by the glass. Some beers you can expect include the 3 Stars Ricky Rose, Omnipollo Noa Pecan Mud Cake, and the BFM La Dragonne.
