This June several Washington restaurants are raising glasses to the return of summer with rosé wine specials in honor of National Rosé Month. Guests can frequent the many outdoor patios, rooftop hideaways, or saddle up to cool bar for a refreshing libation with pricing rosé wines offers that range from $8 to $26 by the glass, or $31 to $45 for a bottle.

In Reston, Virginia, Red’s Table, located on the waterfront of Lake Thoreau, at 11150 South Lakes Drive, offers guests an expansive 60-seat back patio, complete with covered awning as well as a 20-seat open-air front patio. Here you can enjoy a selection of tempting rosé wine, which will be available by the glass and bottle. Standouts include the Conde Valdemar, a blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Viura gives the wine a “raspberry & rosés” character; The Pinot Project, a delicate and refreshing wine with hints of ripe strawberry and peach; Jean-Luc Colombo Cape Bleue Rosé, soft, delicate salmon pink color with lovely aromas of tropical fruit and citrus with a dry finish; Ferrari Carano Rosé, made from 100% Sangiovese grapes with hints of lavender and strawberry-watermelon finish; Matua Pinot Noir Rosé, made from 100% Pino Noir grapes, crisp and dry with strawberry, tangerine, and cranberry flavor, and the Codorniu Anna Brut Rosé, made from 70% Pino Noir and 30% Chardonnay, crisp with dry bubbles and the character of red berries and green apple.
