Save the date for Bayou's send-off on Saturday, June 3rd! Our final chapter is approaching, so we're putting together a lineup of top-tier live musical entertainment to be announced soon. Join us for an unforgettable night you won't want to miss.
In the meantime, we've lined up some of our favorite bands from the past eight years to rock out the Bayou stage over the next three weekends. Come help us celebrate great memories as we make some new ones. RSVP below!
Friday, May 19th: Tripp & The Ripp
Covering tunes that run the gamut from Avicii to Zeppelin, Tripp and the Ripp breathes fresh life into songs both old and new with virtuoso chops and an improvisational spirit. RSVP HERE
Friday, May 26th: Organized Crime & Crush Funk Brass Band
It's a double header of pure funk as we present the Bayou debut of an up-and-coming New Orleans groove powerhouse and welcome the return of a local brass band that embodies the spirit of New Orleans music.
With one foot rooted in the past and the other pointing to the future, Organized Crime has quickly made its mark in New Orleans by redefining the modern funk organ trio.
Crush Funk, a DC band playing in the New Orleans big brass tradition, represents what our live music scene has always been all about - projecting joyful noise into the room and giving you no choice but to dance your cares away in the company of like-minded souls. RSVP HERE
Saturday, May 27th: Zack Smith & The Dixie Power Trio
If you missed our Mardi Gras bash, fret not. We're bringing the East Coast's premier Louisiana variety band to the Bayou stage for a very special show.
Multi-instrumentalist Zack Smith will take you straight to Congo Square as he leads the Dixie Power Trio through two sets of Cajun spiced blues, jazz, rock, and zydeco. RSVP HERE
Friday, June 2nd: La Unica
Combining traditional Irish folk with the more contemporary sounds of funk & soul, La Unica crosses the bounds of time and nations in creating their unique brand of high energy roots music. RSVP HERE
