BROOKLAND: March at Brookland's Finest: Sloppy Mama's and Heavy Seas

Brookland’s Finest will celebrate March Madness with a special collaboration menu with Sloppy Mama’s Barbeque. The restaurant will air all March Madness games on their TV screens and the menu will be available March 14-20, featuring items like smoked whole wings, a fried pickle basket and sandwich and entrée versions of pulled pork and beef brisket. Also available during the month of March, will be a series of four beer dinners where Chef Shannan Troncoso will partner with Heavy Seas Alehouse. The dinners, available every Wednesday throughout the month of March, beginning on March 2, and available on March 9, 16, 23 and 30, feature a $35 prix fixe, three-course menu. The special menu, details below, includes a Bouillabaisse, Spicy Italian Sausage Pasta and a German Chocolate Cake, each of which will be paired with a specially selected brew from Heavy Seas.

FIRST COURSE

Mussels, Shrimp, and Scallops in a Saffron-Ale Broth Paired with Gold Ale 4.5% ABV

SECOND COURSE
– Spicy Italian Sausage Pasta–
House Made Spicy Sausage, Grandma Q’s Sunday Sauce Paired with Loose Cannon IPA 7.2% ABV

THIRD COURSE
– German Chocolate Cake– Imperial Icing with Coconut and Pecans Paired with Peg Leg Imperial Stout 8% ABV
