CHINATOWN: Bantam King Prepares to Debut 'Walk Up Window' Menu, Monday, June 19th

Beginning on Monday, June 19th at 11:30AM for lunch service, Japanese chicken-centric eatery Bantam King based in Chinatown just around the corner from older culinary sibling Daikaya, will be debuting its new ‘Walk Up Window’ menu featuring an eclectic assortment of sweet and savory bites and beverages, including several frosty treats just in time to welcome summer in Washington DC.

Open to the public and available Monday through Friday from 11:30AM-2PM, with plans to expand days and hours in the near future to offer dinner hours and weekend service, Bantam King’s ‘Walk Up Window’ will serve an assortment of playful sweet and savory bites, 
and beverages including a variety of Mochi Ice Cream - Mango, Strawberry, Green Tea ($2.50 for one and $4.50 for two pieces), a rotating assortment of J-Pop Japanese Soda Floats ($5) including a Melon Cream Soda, 
a Fried Chicken Skin Ice Cream Sandwich ($5) featuring a creative twist on chicken bastilla – a famous Moroccan savory chicken pie – but with a dusting of Cinnamon, Crispy Chicken Skins, and Vanilla Ice Cream, and a Nanban Fried Chicken Sandwich ($6.50) featuring a Dashi-brined Fried Chicken Breast, Japanese Tartar Sauce, and Shredded Cabbage, served on a Sesame Martin’s Roll. 
The signature Nanban Fried Chicken Sandwich can also be enjoyed in a combo meal named ‘The Nanban One’ ($9), which includes the fried chicken sandwich and a side of Nori French Fries. Aonori Furaidopoteto or Nori French Fries will be available as a side dish priced at $3 per order,  and an assortment of chilled soft drinks will also be available at Bantam King's Walk Up Window including Calpico, Green Tea, UCC Hawaii Kona Blend Coffee with Milk, and Jarritos Mexican Sodas, to highlight a few options.
