SILVER SPRING: Holiday Plans Are All Set (for you) at All Set Restaurant & Bar

This holiday season, All Set Restaurant & Bar, located in Silver Spring, will present guests with plenty of festive celebrations that are sure to please; leave the cooking to the restaurant and come enjoy these special days.  Guests can savor classic American fare influenced by the traditions of coastal New England at All Set’s Christmas Eve Day brunch, New Year’s Eve dinner with a festive masquerade party of music and dancing or New Year’s Day brunch.
On Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th, Executive Chef Edward Reavis will offer guests a bountiful brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Priced at $50 per person (including tax and gratuity) and $25 for children 12 and under, guests are welcome to fuel up for their last minute shopping dash and enjoy a luxurious Raw Bar with oysters on the half shell and shrimp cocktail, as well as breakfast favorites like Scrambled Eggs, Home Fries, Bacon, Chicken Sausage, Salmon Cakes, Smoked Salmon & Bagels with capers, pickled red onion, dill cream cheese, and sliced tomato, or Pancakes and French Toast with macerated berries, whipped cream, and Vermont maple syrup.
You can also enjoy lunch classics such as Twice Fried Wings, Pulled Pork, Coleslaw, Caesar Salad, and Fresh Fruit.  For a sweet finish there is Cinnamon Sugar Dirt Bombs and Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Additionally, those looking to indulge can enjoy bottomless mimosas for an additional $20 per person. Guests are limited to two hours for the brunch buffet.
On Saturday, December 31st, guests are also invited to ring in the New Year with a special masquerade party at All Set Restaurant & Bar.  Diners can enjoy a three-course meal prepared by Chef Reavis, followed by a night of lively music and dancing, along with a Champagne toast at midnight to welcome 2017.  Priced at $60 per person (not including tax and gratuity), dinner guests will delight in first-course options such as Crispy Shrimp with herb panko and lemon butter, or Winter Salad with baby beets, heirloom carrots, saffron goat cheese, and blood orange vinaigrette, followed by entrée options such as Lobster Crab Cake with wild mushrooms, peewee potatoes, and green beans, or Filet Mignon with scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and blue cheese demi-glace.  For a decedent finish, diners can treat themselves to desserts like Molten Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream, or New York Cheesecake with macerated berries and Chantilly cream.  Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Then on January 1, 2017, one can enjoy a New Year’s Day brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Guests who missed the Christmas Eve day buffet can save the same extensive menu posted earlier in the release featuring both breakfast and lunch options, as well as a raw bar.  The brunch buffet is priced at $50 per person (including tax and gratuity) and $25 for children 12 and under.  Bottomless mimosas will also be available for an additional $20.
