Equal Pay Day means paying 20% less for Denizens beer and select appetizers in the Tap Room of The Black Squirrel next Tuesday as a symbol of the pay gap between men and women.
Denizens Brewing Co. is a brewery located in Silver Spring, MD, and is owned by Emily Bruno and Julie Verratti.
The Black Squirrel is owned and operated by Amy Bowman. She also is in charge of the beer program and special events.
Lean In DC seeks to empower women of Washington, DC. They facilitate circles to close the leadership and wage gaps, helping all women reach their goals.
