CITYCENTERDC: Mother's Day at RareSweets with Tea with Mrs. B
This Mother’s Day, Meredith Tomason and the team at RareSweets in CityCenterDC will partner with Tea with Mrs. B to host a cookie decorating, tea and manners class for children looking to make mom a sweet and unique treat. RareSweets’ signature vanilla shortbread cookies with royal icing will be the subject of the class, where the young guests learn how to decorate the cookies with a spring theme perfect for a Mother’s Day gift. There will be traditional tea service and Rebecca Czarnieck, best known as Mrs. B, will lead her signature etiquette class during tea service, making for a fun and memorable experience for all attendees.
The class will be hosted at RareSweets at 963 Palmer Alley, on April 30, 2017 from 3:00 – 4:45 p.m. The etiquette and tea service portion with Mrs. B will run from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. and cookie decorating with RareSweets’ staff will run from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. Tickets will cost $65 per student (suggested age: 7-10 years old) and includes the class, tea service, treats, and a take-home batch of cookies for mom. For a $10 charge, parents have the option to participate and are encouraged to sit at the outdoor patio to enjoy a selection of refreshments prepared by the RareSweets team.
