PENN QTR: Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar Celebrates National Empanada Day on Saturday, April 8th

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, located steps from CityCenterDC at 801 9th Street, NW, will celebrate National Empanada Day with a Dollar Empanada Happy Hour on Saturday, April 8^th. 

 

Fans of the delectable stuffed pastry are encouraged to stop by the restaurant between 4 PM to 7 PM to sample four different signature Mamá Amelia’s Empanadas: Chicken, Beef Picadillo, Pulled Pork and Del Jardin, each priced at $1.  Guests can also enjoy $5 Cuba Libre cocktails including The “Original” made with Don Q Añejo rum, Coca-Cola and lime.  Empanada Day specials will be available exclusively at the 50-seat bar/lounge.
