GEORGETOWN: The Grill Room has Announced a March Pop-Up Featuring Chef Eric Minnich of the Michelin-Starred Madera at Rosewood Sand Hill - Starts March 6
The Grill Room,
located within the Rosewood Washington D.C. at 1050 31st Street, NW, announced that Eric Minnich, chef de cuisine at the
Michelin-starred Madera at the Rosewood Sand Hill, will host a pop-up
from March 6th through 31st. Rooted in both the
culinary arts and gastronomic sciences, Minnich will bring a fresh and
balanced perspective to the menu at The Grill Room during his month-long
stay. Chef Minnich's passion is to pursue new ingredients and
techniques, bringing unique flavors to his cuisine. Guests can
anticipate seasonal, creative dishes at The Grill Room including Black Truffle, Burrata & Beet Salad with fines herbs and sherry vinaigrette; Lamb Merguez “Crepinette” with smoked date and jalapeƱo chutney and cilantro, as well as a Whole Roasted Trout with sherry, brown butter, romesco and fennel.
A native of the Bay Area, Chef
Minnich received his BS in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales
University in Providence, Rhode Island, and most recently worked as the
sous chef for Traci Des Jardins at her critically acclaimed Spanish
restaurant, The Commissary. He has also traveled internationally to
dine and stage, most notably at the globally-ranked Astrid y Gaston in
Lima, Peru. At RN74, Minnich refined his cooking technical skills
working under the direction of world-renowned Chef Michael Mina.
