RESTAURANT WEEK DC: Suggestion #5 - L'Hommage Bistro Francais
In the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood, L'Hommage Bistro Francais,
located at 450 K Street, NW, will offer guests a three-course
tasting menu exclusively during dinner this Restaurant Week. Priced at
$35 per person (not including tax and gratuity), diners can feast on
classic French dishes prepared by Executive Chef Josh Perkins that
incorporate traditional cooking techniques to pay tribute to the true
flavors of French cuisine.
Appetizer choices include French Onion Soup au Gratinor Belgian Endive Salad with Roquefort Société and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Entrée options include Beef Bourguignon with pommes puree and seasonal vegetables; Coq au Vin with oyster mushrooms, lardons and pearl onions, or Pan Roasted Skate Wing with lemon brown butter and baby spinach. For a sweet finish, guests can enjoy Chocolate Profiteroles prepared by newly appointed Pastry Chef Bouchaib (BiBi) Benahmida.
