RESTAURANT WEEK DC: Suggestion #19 - Pennsylvania 6

For DC Restaurant Week restaurant Pennsylvania 6 Culinary Director Brian Cook has designed a special three course dinner menu with an upscale twist.
Here is the 'published' menu
 

DC RESTAURANT WEEK
$35 prix fixe dinner

FIRST Course

  • FRESH RICOTTA  w/ olive oil, black pepper, thyme, orange-fig jam
  • CRAB CROQUETTES w/ lemon wedge, sauce gribiche
  • SWEET POTATO & KALE SALAD w/aged gouda, asian pear, spiced pecans, maple-pecan vinaigrette 
  • HALF DOZEN CHESAPEAKE WILD OYSTERS
SECOND Course
  • VEGETABLE HOT POT w/ baby turnips, fall squash, yellow split peas, basmati rice, curry sauce
  • LAMB SHOULDER RAGOUT w/ shaved crimini mushroom salad, rigatocini pasta, aged goat cheese
  • ROASTED CHICKEN "DIABLO" w/ yukon gold potato puree, wilted lacinato kale, currants, roasted garlic- chicken jus
  • YELLOWFIN TUNA w/ benton's prosciutto, celeriac puree, spicy broccolini, peppadew chimichurri
DESSERT
  • SPICED APPLE CAKE w/ butter toffee pecans, caramel sauce, bourbon-vanilla gelato
  • BOLIVIAN CHOCOLATE TERRINE w/ caramelized bananas, peanut brittle, chocolate ganache sauce, espelette chili pepper

Pennsylvania 6's  Restaurant Week menu will be available from January 25-31.
