RESTAURANT WEEK DC: Suggestion #10 - 701 Restaurant
Highlights include Beet Salad with caramelized labneh, pecans and pomegranate vinaigrette; Chestnut Soup with duck confit jam and foie gras mousse; Pork Loin with wheat berries, wild mushrooms and pear-miso butter; Root Vegetable Pot au Feu with oat dumplings and caramelized onion broth, as well as Roast Sirloin Steak with fingerling potatoes, carrots and black garlic.
Lastly, for dessert, guests can enjoy tempting choices such as Elderflower Curd with pineapple, pink peppercorn and coconut; Carrot Cake Bread Pudding with carrot cremeux and cream cheese ice cream, and a Cream Sicle, orange parfait with vanilla financier and meringue.
701 Restaurant’s Restaurant Week menu will be available from January 25-31.
Lunch is served Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner is served Monday and Tuesday, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Friday, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
